About Me
​I have always loved music, recorded and especially live and this led me to working in hifi retail many years ago where I was fortunate ​enough to become an Audio Note UK dealer as even 25 plus years ago Audio Note carried the enviable reputation as the finest home audio equipment money can buy.
​
As a fan of live music it was instantly clear listening to an Audio Note system brought me far closer to the live experience than anything I'd ever heard before.

Myself catching up with Audio Note (UK) founder Peter Qvortrup after far too long at Sound & Vision 2025
This remained lodged in my musical memory until I visited the Audio Note room at Sound and Vision hifi show in 2025 where it all came flooding back.​ I then resolved to finally purchase myself a slice of the Audio Note action!

This blog will show the journey from literally nothing, all I have is a carrier bag with a loose assortment of records, and the promise of a spare room (once cleared and decorated) to a space to enjoy my vinyl and CD based Audio Note system to enjoy for many years .​​​
